Valentine’s Day will soon be here, and it’s always good to have some Valentine’s Day recipes on hand. That said, here are some of our favorite love day recipes to enjoy – some are super-simple to prepare, others are more elaborate.
Valentine’s Day Recipe Ideas
IF you love bread…EASY BRUSCHETTA
Incredibly simple and easy to make, bruschetta is perfect for those who want satisfying, fresh from the garden flavor without spending much time in the kitchen. Keep it simple with just 5 or 6 ingredients, or go all out with toppings. Keep it vegan, or serve with your favorite sliced cheese.
If you love cheese…CAPRESE SALAD
Another easy Italian classic sans the bread is Caprese – made with fresh sliced mozzarella cheese and ripe and juicy tomatoes. Serve alone as a festive light meal, or as an appetizer before a simple pasta and marinara dish.
Speaking of pasta, there’s a reason it never goes out of style – for Valentine’s and every other day!
If you love pasta…
Here are some main dish pasta ideas for you and yours:

Our pick: Fennel Orange Salad – simple, elegant salad reminiscent of old country Italy – crisp and juicy with delightful flavor pairings.
If you love steak…BEEF/BISON TENDERLOIN
Garlic mashed potatoes are super easy to make…simply cut the potatoes (peeled or unpeeled) into 1” cubes, boil them until tender, then drain the water. Using a masher or a fork, mix them with Vervana Crushed Garlic Flavored Olive Oil instead of butter. Add a dash of half-and-half or milk for added creaminess. Season with Savory Salt and Pepper Juniper Blends, to taste.
If you love chocolate…
Stay tuned – we also have some new gluten-free chocolate olive oil cake recipes on the way – a dark chocolate almond cake and blood orange dark chocolate hazelnut olive oil cake – we’ll soon send you an email about them!
We hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
